Trying to make
useful things.
I'm Josh — a final-year student at NTU. I've spent time at McKinsey, co-founded EdYouth Taiwan, and will be joining Cake in September. I'm interested in data, public policy, and the space where both overlap.

Things I'm building
EPO Navigator — AI guide for 學習歷程
An AI-powered Q&A tool for Taiwanese high schoolers navigating the 108 curriculum portfolio. Built on a knowledge base co-developed with eight university professors — the goal is to answer "how do professors actually read this?" before students write, not after.

從孩子出發的大人練習課
Co-authored with researchers, social workers, and policy practitioners working in children's rights. My chapter — "I'm a student, not a guinea pig" — traces how a curriculum observation report became the seed of EdYouth, and how students went from silent subjects of reform to active stakeholders in Taiwan's education policy.

Don't just "please the professor" — a first-hand guide to learning portfolios
An in-depth interview in CommonWealth's Crossing — walking through how Taiwan's first cohort of 108 curriculum students approached the portfolio system, and what actually matters.

Without credits or a salary — students who stayed up all night to reform the curriculum
A deep feature on building EdYouth from scratch as a first-year NTU student — attending Ministry of Education meetings with no compensation, driven entirely by conviction.
